I that case with the CT200h your mileage may vary with the cutoff. I wouldn't recommend setting it lower than the second highest (12.5?).
The 12v battery is only there to run things like security systems when the car is 'off' and boot the main systems when you push the start button.
During normal running the NiMH pack runs pretty much everything.
With the CT, older Prius and RX on the same setup dead 12v batteries are a common thing, especially if they get left for too long.
You might find timelapse a better choice than low bit rate if you're after longer parking times.
I tend not to use the G-force options so can't really help there.
