Has anyone seen this battery pack for sale anywhere? Preferably on a Dutch site, but an English site will do. :p
It is available here but my understanding of the Korean language is lacking. I'd hoped Power Core would have announced their new high capacity battery, but no response there, which make them seem a bit unreliable.

Cellink Neo21+

Hours of useAbout 65hours (Based on 2-CH dashcam within 4Wh)
Battery usedLiFePO4
Product capacity12.8V / 20,400mA / 261.12Wh

Wow 261.12Wh, I want.

Powercore are very strange. Great product but suspiciously silent.

261Wh sounds amazingly huge for a dedicated dash cam battery pack.
Based on the current EGEN battery pack charge times for the 96Wh models (1Hr 10 Min @ 10AMPS).
This chunky boi will take over 3 hours of driving to fully charge.
If you can do with a 153Wh capacity I would take a look at the IROAD POWER Pack Pro 12;

Thanks, I somehow expected you to react ;)
In my mind I'd dismissed the iRoad, only I forgot to mention that in my notes, so I'll have to check again...

Our next car will be a PHEV, which we plan to charge at 220V and about 8A, so most of the revenue of our 3220Wp solar panels can flow into the car, without drawing too much extra power from the mains. This means the charge time will be longer but the idea is that, while the cars EV battery is charging, the cams battery gets charged too. At least, that's the theory.
In other words, charging time for the cam battery pack probably won't be an issue.

These dash cam battery packs are “traditionally” designed (wired up) to only charge when the vehicle is KOER (key on engine running).
However, you may be able to custom configure the wiring so it will charge BOTH KOER, and parked in the garage charging off your panels.
@Vortex Radar was working on this issue with his new EV.
Maybe he will stop by with options for a solution.

Thanks for the tip, the solution probably depends on how the car vendor solves this/which wires are powered in both cases. I don't feel confident installing the cam in the new car myself, afraid I'd break something. The installation is done by a car electronics specialist (stereo/alarm/dash cams/...), recommended by our car dealer. If the electronics specialist has questions about the wiring, they can contact the dealer directly. And the dealer told me it shouldn't be a problem (famous last words :) ).

Edit: Typos: 'told be it should' replaced by 'told me it shouldn't'.

Availability seems to be the biggest problem for the iROAD battery, can't seem to buy it in this part of the world. Only shipping from Korea...
Dutch distributor mentions a very old model:

which is mentioned in this topic, from 2017

This popped up in the search results, which doesn't give me a warm feeling either :confused: (this site is currently not available)

:unsure:

@safedrivesolutions the sells the 2nd generation model, (latest & greatest);
I know, unfortunately they don't ship to the Netherlands.
We are shipping to Canadian addresses and USA addresses.

Thanks for the links, I'd found them. But like I said, there doesn't seem to be a vendor in Europe that ships iROAD products to the Netherlands.

Makes me reconsider the Power-Core 6200LFP Plus + Extender 13400LFP, which gives 250.86Wh. That's 97Wh more than the iROAD Power Pro 12 at an estimated €30,- extra cost.

iROAD = $349 + $49 shipping. Estimated 20% import tax: $398 * 1.2 = $477.60 = €443.17
PowerCore = £219.00 + £189.00 = £408.00. Free shipping and tax/duty free = €474.22

CELLINK GOT ALL DA THINGZ YOU WANT BUT CANT BUY BECAUSE ! #CantBuyGenius #CellinkSwag #DerpyDerps

Don't need to yell :oops: :)

Anyway, we'll get the keys of the car Friday 24., so I ordered the Power Core 6200LFP Plus + Extender.

I got a reply and Cellink Neo21+ is 'not sold overseas and not shipped directly to an individual customer.'
