Halo road angel go front dash

I hate this dashcam. So much so I want to replace it, it's hardwired so is it possible to just connect the cable next to the windscreen into another make?

I'm guessing it won't be that straightforward, so are there any other models of dashcam that would work with the hard wired installation I already have or would I need to start again with a hardwire kit specific the new dash cam?

If the wire that goes into it is USB, there are lots of choices for replacement dashcams. Even if it's the old Micro USB, you could get an adaptor.

If it's some custom kind of wire, you will need a new hardwire kit.

Hi and thanks for the response. The wire is usb c which looks quite standard. The hardwire kit was the one suggested for this dashcam. I'm just wondering if it's compatible with other dashcams? Beginning to think it isn't!
