    Power Core 6200LFP

According to powercore a dual cam lasts 27 hours on a single battery so ok, 3 cameras consume more, but to get from 23 to 10hrs seems a lot Really don't know where powercore get their measurements from

only 10hrs ? wow the VIOFO A139 is alss a dual cam right ? still very strange, as a dual cam should last 27 hours as per the specs

    Power Core 6200LFP

I have the battery as well + 2 extensions According to the specs This should give me over 6 days of parkmode, but i only get abt 3.5days (even if parked in my garage where there's no movement at all) Pretty disappointing considering the investment, but otherwise they are solid batteries . Ps...

Crackle and white noise from U1000 when starting car after BAB-50 battery has died

i have said it TWICE now; the camera does NOT need to stay on if you do NOT want to use park mode. your statement was that if camera switches off with the engine, this creates the noise as described by OP. Again this is NOT true, as the camera switches off by itself in the same way a PC does...

Crackle and white noise from U1000 when starting car after BAB-50 battery has died

again: the camera needs to be permanently powered ONLY when you want park mode (either with or without radar) if you don't want this, the camera can just switch off when engine switches off . and it does this without any noise, cos it uses the internal capacitator to save the last clip and...

Crackle and white noise from U1000 when starting car after BAB-50 battery has died

This is not correct . the camera does NOT have to be on all the time . (only if you want parkmode) when the engine's switched off, the camera will save the last clip and then shut itself down.

    Thinkware 750 Development

I would go for the U1000 (the U3000 being ridiculously expensive) the hardwire is same, though not sure for the rear camera cable ..

Voice alert on initial start up

I'm confused, you ask about Voice alerts, but then talk about downloading videos . anyway, page 53; 6.5.2 Adjusting the system volumeThis menu allows you to adjust the voice guidance volume. Follow the instructions to adjust the volume. 1 From the mobile viewer, tap Dash Cam Settings > System...

    Parking

i'd set motion to low and impact to high then again, if someone hits your car, you probably notice this the same day. sure it might take a bit of time to go through the footage, but it's not a huge task .

    Reformat

No you can - press and hold "record" (when camera on) - use app to start format - take out card & format in pc

    Reformat

it does not seems necessary with the u1000, but i still do it every now and then push and hold the record button till you hear a message

    Hotspot device

i have a huawei. (it's hooked up to the same battery pack as my camera) works well, you just have to switch off "energy saving ", because if you leave it on, the device switches off when no active wifi traffic though must say i hardly ever use it Also; the camera sometimes deletes the hotspot...
