Good Idea, I was thinking about the same thing, use a portable battery source. I guess you would have to use adapters?

anyone try using one of those external battery packs? I see some for around 60 dollars 10000mah, and it has 12v outlets as well.

Well I just picked one up. Surely the price will go up soon especially when this normally sells for 2 bills. Hope I get this soon as I am really excited right now. Only concern is getting the English stuff in there.
