firmware request

Hello all & @VIOFO-Support @viofo Need some ideas regarding the ongoing problem with my A129 Duo dashcam. I am trying to reflash the firmware to deal with parking mode problems. But the camera simply refuses to read the firmware bin file in the SD card. The camera came with firmware A129:V2.2...

Not sure if this is the right place for a request, but I've seen that VIOFO people are reading the threads. It would be useful for my usage scenario if it would be possible to enable parking mode on a scheduled basis to avoid having to go through the menus to turn it on or off every time...

So I bought a 650gw 2ch from amazon warehouse (pre-owned) and after the rear cam not working and getting "incorrect version" messages when trying to update the firmware I figured out the previous owner had installed custom firmware (v1.5) and as this is a newer model it's disabled the rear cam...

Or maybe a way of sending feedback to the manufacturer? I find the light really distracting when driving at night. I've tried to darken it, using stickers meant for reducing the brightness of LED used in electronics, but it's not enough. Would like to switch it off, just as the screen image.
