Constant Power Supply

If the camera has a constant Power source without using the hardwire kit, will it still enter the parking mode ?

It can, if you enable motion detect mode. Be careful with this as the camera draws about 1A at 5V for 5W continuously. Don't leave the car parked too long, or you will end up with a dead battery. On my previous car, the key fob trunk open button was too easy to press, so it often got triggered when in my pocket. There was a 15W lamp in the trunk that would turn on when the trunk was unlatched. Unfortunately it was not obvious from the outside that the trunk was unlatched, and when I was unemployed, my car would sit in the garage for four days at a time. This was enough to completely drain the battery. I eventually unplugged the lamp in the trunk to prevent draining the battery.
