Wi-Fi App: It's nice to have wifi app download link right on the menu of the dashcam.
It asks for location permissions to use maps and record directions but even if not using them, it still wants location enabled.
Other than that, it works great and live view is pretty smooth.

The lens appears to be out of focus, particularly noticeable in the middle-left area of the image. It looks to be close-focused, since the window edge is sharp.

I will agree on the focus issue.

Yes, I tried cleaning the lens and my windshield to make sure but it looks like it's focused too close at my dash and is worse on left side.

Few more day and night videos.
Night videos do look little better so it could be the heat and reflection that makes the focus worse during daytime.

What are your day and night temperatures for these recordings?

(No need to be accurate, just a guide for those of us that don't know if Denver is in Alaska or Texas!)
(I did try clicking on your "location" under your avatar, but "Google Maps can't find Denver" )
(And having found your current weather description, it says " Smoke · 21°C ", which doesn't really help!)

It's pretty warm during the day, around 90 degrees and at night it drops to around 50 degrees.

Colorado, unless the GPS data in all his screenshots is wrong ;)

You might have to google for mile high city :)

Summer have long gone here now, dont even hit 20 deg C during the day, and last night the weather for overnight said some places might hit 2 deg C.
So first night of 0 or less cant be far away, but my area are at 10 or just above in the forecast for the week to come.

Dident they say last week for some northern state that "today" was 30 deg C and tomorrow was forecast to be sub zero and snow,,,,,, that some extreme jump and i think it also came true.

Yes, we had a snow storm last week.
It was 94 in the day and dropped to less 32 at night and snowed.
That's over 62 degrees difference on the same day.

Well you are living in one of the ( at least for me ) interesting areas of the US, so of course the weather have to match that.
And the same thing day out and day in get boring, even the nice warn sunny weather i prefer, which is also why i am so sad Denmark dont have winters any more just 7 - 8 months of grey / wet / cold weather.

I think in total in the past decade my area have gotten 2 feet of snow in total, that is what we got overnight when i was a kid.
