You need to use maybe iMovie. Or download video editing software.

You can easily blur plates in YouTube now.

I'm not sure if you can zoom in VLC but you can export to other formats. On the Mac get Video Lan Client for better video options. I'm not sure if you can zoom in VLC but you can export to other formats.
