DR550GW-2CH - Cabling

Afternoon Folks.

I purchased a 2nd Hand car and the above Blackvue came with it. It connects to the new App but no Live feed nor any videos, so I've had to install the APK for the legacy app.

Cabling it seems to have a cable I assume Coaxial, from the rear Camera to the Front camera,

For power I assume a 12v connection.

My question is, is the power cable compatible with ALL blackvue cameras, I was hoping to just remove the camera, and replace it with a newer blackvue product?

No, the power cables have changed over time.
So the power cables are compatible with a number of dashcams but not others.
For example, the DR900X/Plus has a thicker power cable compared with older models, so needs replacing.
The rear coax cable is the same on most, but the power cables aren't the same for ALL, but are the same for some.
You'd be able to check with your new camera before you.remove the cable from the car to see if it still works with your new one.
