hello all,

I'm new to hardwired parking mode.
My issue is that when there is a rain my dashcam records almost none stop, makes it not useful at all, while draining car battery.
I started from motion detected mode, but moved to impact / collision detection mode.
Even with collision detection dashcam is triggered to start recording when we have normal to heavy rain.
Yes, I set the sensor sensitivity to the lowest position, it helped initially with light rain, but with current storms my dashcam records none stop till hardwire kit kills power at 11.8V to preserve car battery from completely drain out.
Yes, I have to park my car outside.
How do you accommodate rain and snow for your parking mode?
it is even possible?
I don't see how motion mode can be used in snowing at all

thanks

There are definite limitations for sure while it is covered with snow.. or rain.. or even wind moving the odd tree.

I don't think the amount of electricity the camera uses varies much between monitoring or saving the results of the monitoring. On is on.
