KK to remove ferrite choke from power cable?

The ferrite choke on the A139 pro USB m power cable is too bulky to hide behind the trim on my Bronco and too unsightly to leave outside. Is there any downside to removing it? If yes how is everyone dealing with it?

You may get some radio interference, but more likely you wont notice anything.

Radio interference can affect your car analogue radio by making it noisy, DAB radio by blocking weaker channels, keyfob radio, tire pressure sensor radio, potentially devices using GPS, and probably a few other things.
