Just got my E2 a few days ago, (tested it out of the box and it seemed to work except for difficulty in getting wifi to work) and am installing it in a vintage car with the battery in the trunk. The included usb c cable is slightly short. I bought an extension and connectors so that I could connect the power source in the trunk to the front camera. after fighting with getting the wifi to work (still a problem). If I connect the front cam to the rear cam while the extension cable is connected, the front cam will not see the rear cam, but if I remove the extension cable, it DOES see the rear camera. Source voltage at the fuse box connection on digital voltmeter at the time was/is 12.86 volts, voltage selector set to 11.6 volts. Is the extension cable causing a reduce voltage to reach the camera, thereby doing something to the signal to/from the rear camera? Thanks in advance. (I will have more questions before this is all over)
