Looks like the S1 Pro has finally been released (at least in the USA region) as evidenced by the latest Instagram posts by Vantrue. Also some presence by Vantrue at SEMA and AAPEX this year.

Also some rumblings over on r/Dashcam about folks who have just bought their units too.

Hopefully @Vortex Radar managed to bump into them this year for a chit chat, and to double check that @Jeff_Vantrue hasn't been taken hostage either lol

I haven’t been yet, but I plan on visiting them today now that I’m done with most of my interviews and videos at SEMA. It turns out they’re over at AAPEX instead for some reason and luckily there’s a bus we can hop between shows.

Anything in particular you’d like me to ask them about? I’m mostly curious to chat about things like the N4 Pro and N5, their new factory, the status of their cloud offerings, etc.

Not sure there's anything that I or the other top blokes on here haven't covered with our reviews and testing already. Quality of life issues (e.g. rear camera focus issues, IQ issues on firmware) we tend to cover directly with Vantrue, which is probably out of the scope of these retail shows.

I suppose what may be of interest is if they have any upcoming projects that we don't know about already, like you say with potential cloud offerings. I honestly like the potential of their products (and their looks and packaging over Viofo, shhhh lol), so I would like to know how they will try and compete against the other big boys. And how they plan to differentiate themselves from the others.

They had a presence on here for a while, so I'm sure a lot of us here would love to see them keep that up - it seems since August they've dropped off a cliff..

S1 Pro night time HDR performance is still non-functional, (needs firmware fix).
Rear camera is out of focus.
Add H.264 as an optional Codec, (they currently only have the yucky H.265). lol

Any update on a "Mirror Cam with Backup Cam" for Mother's Day?
I was just asked to test this but I'm going to pass.

I think this is the same model with another brand. I know Lanmodo and the expreience is not good, I do not recommend it and the manufacturer is not customer friendly either. (Lanmodo Vast Pro) This night vision is not useful.

I don't think they are the same shell even, even if it was an ODM solution that they bought off someone. Looks different.
