You can wonder, or i do at least, why people come here to Denmark, and then stay in the Danish capitol Copenhagen.
You can visit Copenhagen sure, but really 1 - 2 days and you got to get the hell out of there, and see the real deal.

Århus is the best Danish base for getting under the skin of the Danes.

I was a little puzzled until I realised that if Aarhus had been spelled Århus, then it would probably have come second in the list, or maybe last - the GOLDEN “HAPPIEST” CITIES are in alphabetical order, not sure where Å comes?

Did Aarhus change its official spelling so that it would always come first in lists like this?

Of course you have still won, so congratulations, but you are not officially ranked higher than London or Weelington ... I bet they are not very pleased with their spelling even if it doesn't affect their position!

Yes in yet another fit of fitting in town names with our 3 unique letters ÆØÅ was changed so Århus became Aarhus, but in the Danish alphabet ÆØÅ is at the tail end of it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danish_and_Norwegian_alphabet
I of course do not accept this woke idea of fitting in, i find it ridiculous and i praise our differences.

Funny thing our capitol is still København and not Kobenhavn,,,,, at least that is how i understand it, i would never get near that damn place, if anything i want to establish the republic of Jutland and flip off Denmark.

Interesting, according to the rules in that link, Aarhus should still come last alphabetically:

The digraph ⟨aa⟩ is sorted as if it was ⟨å⟩

In Welsh we completely replaced 'ð' by 'dd' centuries ago, but 'dd' comes after 'd' alphabetically, same for the others, so under our rules you would have moved down one place.

You don't seem to have a digraph for 'ø', so they couldn't change that.
