G1WH doesn't say goodbye

I've just hard wired my G1WH with a hardwire kit into an ignition live fuse with a fuse tap.
When I turn off the ignition the dash cam flicks straight off and doesn't say goodbye like when I used to pull the cig charger out. Is this okay? I've not had chance to check its recording properly until tomorrow.

Did you ever get a fix for this Broody? mine is now doing the same thing.
