Lukas Viewer - Debug error on Mac

I have a just purchased a Lukas 7950 Duo but I am having problem with the viewer on my Mac - The app loads but when I go to select which video files I want to load I get a debug error and a purple screen (screen shot attached) -

Its only happening on one of my Mac's at the moment - so I would like to uninstall it and reinstall it to see if that fixes the problem. - but I can't find out where it puts all the files - I can delete the app but there is something lurking.

I am also getting a jerky playback on Mac but on virtual windows machine on my mac it works find using the windows app.

Any suggestions

I've been using the Mac viewer for the 7950 without any errors. But app likes to beachball (without crashing) a lot. If I'm just trying to view the video without all the accelerator data, it's easier to pull them up in VideoLan.
