So with Voice Command disabled, the single beep happened again. I happen to be in a parking lot getting ready to leave while inputting google map while I heard the beep. Quickly glanced at the A229 Plus and no message was visible, just a black screen. Thanks for the screen shot. I will purchase one of the recommended ones. I assume the Sandisk Extreme will work fine for the A229 Plus as it's not 4K?
Update. Noticed Viofo just removed the Sandisk Extreme card from their recommended section. Getting more reports that the Extreme card is now having issues even at 2K.

So sorry for the late reply due to the Chinese May Day Holiday. We will contact you to replace the camera for you.So this happened yet again. Single beep, date of recorded clip jumped to the year 2000 then unit asked to format the card. This is now using a new Sandisk Max Endurance card. Clearly, this is a defective unit. A few days waiting for support to reply. So frustrating dealing with this...
