Dash Cam
A139 Pro
Like a dummy, I initially plugged my A139 Pro directly into the USB-A 5v connector in my car rather than to the 12v adapter. The camera rec like came on but that was it. After about 3 minutes I realized my error. Is it possible I may have damaged any of the internal dashcam circuitry by plugging it into the incorrect power port? I read that lower voltage can result in higher amps.

While that is true, if the camera didn't work correctly, your car will have had an amps limit on its output and there just wasn't enough power available. The camera will run fine from some USB charging ports, but there is no guarantee.

It will not of damaged any hardware; there is a slight possibility of damaging the firmware, but that can always be reinstalled, if it is working then don't worry.
